Getting the puzzle ready for you…

One code, and you’re all in the same game

Multiplayer word game: one board, wherever you are

You make a room, send the code or the link, and everyone who opens it is at the same board right away. Two to four players, taking turns, with the chat next to it. Free, nothing to install, and nobody needs an account.

Sharing is one code

Every room has a short code. Send it — or the whole link — and whoever opens it is in. Nothing to install, no invitation to accept and no account needed: entering a name is enough.

Everyone plays on their own phone, tablet or computer and sees every tile appear right away. Anyone who joins later watches along and plays in the next game.

Taking turns, but together

Sit in the room at the same time and you see whose turn it is, watch the word take shape, and can brag or grumble in the chat. Put a call on speaker and it is not far from sitting at one table.

Or spread a game over a few days: the time per move goes from one minute up to three days. With an account you can also invite a friend straight from your friends list; the game starts right away, and they get a notification that it’s their turn. If someone drops out, the game skips them — it never gets stuck on an empty chair.

Two to four players

With two it is a duel, with four a scramble for the bonus squares. More than four doesn’t fit: you would wait too long for your next turn. A fifth player can still watch and join the next game.

Fun with kids or grandparents too: when a move is refused, the message says in plain words what is wrong, so nobody needs to know the rules by heart.

No one available?

The public rooms have games you can join right away, and the computer is always ready for a game. Would you rather solve something together than play against each other? In a multiplayer crossword everyone fills in the same puzzle and you work toward one solution.

Everything you can play here is listed on word games.
